Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\Quarantine
- Open the Quarantine Folder and delete all data
- After deleting the Quarantine also Space will remain
- The Quarantine Folder are located at two places
i. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\Quarantine
ii. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\SRTSP
.:.While opening the Quarantine folder it show this error.:.
.:. i.e:-- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\SRTSP\Quarantine is not accessible (Access is denied)
.:.How to open Quarantine folder.:.
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\SRTSP Path
- Right click on Quarantine folder and select properties
- Go to security option and give the administrator permission to that folder
- In any case the security option has been disable position
.:.Follow this Steps.:.
- Open my computer
- Go to View->select Tools option->Folder options->View
- Remove the tick mark on for show pop-up description folder and desktop items
- Apply and Click ok
How to Give Administrator permission to the Quarantine folder
- Right Click on Quarantine folder
- Select properties
- Select Security option
- Select Advanced option->click on Add option
- Select Advanced option->Find
- Select Administrator option
- Click ok->Ok->Ok->Ok
- After following this step now open the Quarantine folder and delete all data
- It take more time to open the folder wait for min until the file shows
- Select all Delete all data
